EcoBeans takes privacy seriously because we understand how important it is for you to know how and why we collect, store and use your personal information. When you register for an online account you grant EcoBeans permission to store your personal information. We will only use your personal information for the following reasons:

    • To create an online account for you
    • To record and process your orders
  • To add to our database so we may inform you of specials, promotions, offers and events via email or post
  • To respond to your queries

Any changes to our policy will be posted on our website Third Party Sites This site may contain links to other websites owned and operated by third parties and which are not under our control and therefore we cannot be responsible for the privacy practices, security standards, or content of other sites.  You should check the privacy policies of those sites before providing any personal information to them. Disclosure   EcoBeans will not share your personal information with any third party unless:

  • The disclosure is in connection with one of the purposes for which the information was collected (e.g. to courier companies to enable deliveries).
  • We are required or authorised by law to make disclosure.

If you do not wish to receive emails from us regarding products, offers and promotions you will have the opportunity to unsubscribe. If you unsubscribe, you will continue to receive emails specifically related to your online sales.

You must not use this site for fraudulent or other unlawful activity or otherwise do anything to damage or disrupt this site. If you do so legal action will be taken against you or your corporation. Content                    We endeavour to ensure that any content will be current, accurate or complete when you access it. Any error or inaccuracy which is brought to our intention will be dealt with within a reasonable time. This site may contain links to other websites owned and operated by third parties and which are not under our control. We provide links to these sites for your convenience and the existence of any such links does not imply any endorsement by us of the linked site nor are we are responsible for any material contained on those sites. Amendments We may amend these terms of use from time to time, so you should check and read these terms of use regularly. By continuing to use this site after any such amendment you are deemed to have agreed with the amended terms of use. Jurisdiction and Governing Law EcoBeans is New Zealand owned and operated.  Accordingly, these terms of use and any matters or disputes connected with this site will be governed by New Zealand laws and will be dealt with in New Zealand courts. Product Usage Instructions for the use of goods must be followed, and the goods must not be used for any other purpose other than which they were intended. The customer is responsible for the necessary skill and care in the handling of the product. The Customer acknowledges and agrees that EcoBeans accepts no obligation or liability for any advice given. Goods are accepted by the Customer entirely at the customer’s risk. Specials All specials and deals are while stocks last only or at the discretion of the company. No rain checks. Purchases from our online shop may only be made by persons who are acquiring goods or services for their own use or consumption, and you must not acquire goods from us via the website for resupply (whether in trade or otherwise). If you are purchasing on behalf of another entity such as a company you warrant you have the authorisation to agree to these terms and conditions on behalf of the entity.

Returns Policy

Please read the following policy carefully – buying any of our products online means that you agree to this. All cancellations require an early notification before dispatch. Please note that you will remain liable for full payment of the price of the purchased item should you fail to provide a cancellation notice immediately after the transaction. To cancel your order: Please call EcoBeans on 021 109 9810 which is answered during normal business hours or email us immediately after your purchase quoting your order number. Your refund will then be processed provided your order has not been shipped. If your order has been shipped, we will not accept returns because you have changed your mind.  If there are extenuating circumstances, please contact us and we will consider returns on a case by case basis.  However, such returns will incur a re-stocking fee of 10% of the recommended retail price.  The product must be returned at your cost and the original shipping will not be reimbursed. Damaged or Faulty Goods EcoBeans makes every effort to ensure its products are checked before Dispatch.  Please inspect your order immediately upon receipt. If an item is faulty, or damaged in transit EcoBeans will replace or refund on receipt of evidence of the damage in line with our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act . Damage delivery claims must be submitted within 5 working days of delivery of the goods. Beyond this timeframe we may not be able to make a claim upon the delivery agent due to the rules imposed by them. If you have any queries or problems regarding your order, please contact us with your order number and we will sort things out for you as soon as possible. Sale items are not returnable.

Shipping

EcoBeans will only ship within New Zealand. When we receive an order we will validate the order and delivery is generally door to door by courier unless otherwise discussed. Please be aware that if you are RURAL you need to disclose this as the courier cost is more expensive for rural deliveries. If we discover you have not disclosed that you are Rural you will be invoiced for the additional courier cost prior to the dispatch of goods. Delivery EcoBeans are generally shipped within 2/3 standard working days of your order being placed and of our subsequent confirmation of receipt of the order (excluding weekends and public holidays). This is an estimate only and may be subject to delays beyond our control, such as weather etc. If any products are damaged in transit EcoBeans must be notified immediately on receipt of the product either by phoning 021 109 9810 or by email [email protected] and best options to rectify will be discussed with the customer at the time. This may be the return of the product with a replacement issued.

Online Payments

Currencies All prices displayed are in New Zealand Dollars (NZD) and include GST. All prices seen on the website are final. In the unlikely event of a pricing error, your order will be suspended until we can contact you via the methods provided. In the instance that we cannot contact you, we will cancel the order and refund any payment as per our terms and conditions. All credit/debit card details are handled via STRIPE. Your bank or Credit Card Company may require security checks to validate your purchase. EcoBeans can accept EFTPOS payments and direct bank transfers.
